Some of us were lucky enough to meet the big guy today, Santa🎅, along with his trusty sidekick Mrs. Claus🤶. We hope that everyone has a Happy Holidays and a wonderful break! We will see you next year 😉!
And finally.... The Washington School Dodgeball Tournament! Our students played all morning in a double elimination tournament to see who our new school champs would be.

The kids flew all around the world today, to learn about Christmas's around the world. They did a variety of crafts, and learned about all different kinds of traditions! Tomorrow is the big Dodgeball Tournament! Don't forget to wear your workout wear!
Today we kicked off our last week before break with WinterPalooza 2023! The 4th and 5th graders traveled to various classrooms to do different holiday activities. Fun was had by all! Only 2 days until break!
Washington students had a blast attending the Peoria Rivermen game today! There was lots of cheering, dancing, and clapping to be had by all! Only 4 more school days, and then it's WINTER BREAK!
Our Washington School 4th graders have been hard at work making a stop motion animation of their Thanksgiving day parade balloons! Each class has their own video of their projects, and will be posted throughout the day. First up, we have Mrs. Francis's class! Stay tune for the rest of the 4th grade classes! Shout out to Mrs. Smith for her awesome work on these projects!

Holiday Countdown Day 4: Hat Day! Have a great weekend!
Countdown Day 3 was Snow Day! Much to some dismay it wasn't a "real" snow day, but we had fun dressing in all white anyway!
Countdown Day 2 was Santa's Workout Partner. So we dressed to hit the gym today!
We are kicking off our Twelve Days of Christmas Countdown by showing that we are mad about plaid!
