News from PE
The month of September flew by! The students practiced throwing and catching while competing in several different games. Students had fun adjusting their throwing from short to long throws. They also caught their own tosses while doing different tricks and were able to play catch with others.
October will be dominated by our foot skills unit which will involve students using their feet to kick, move, and adjust objects. To illustrate the most popular sport in the world, several variations of soccer will be played. During this unit it is crucial that students wear closed toed shoes in order to stay safe and have a great time. I am looking forward to a great month.
Also, the weather is changing to cooler temperatures and we go outside everyday unless it is too wet. PLEASE SEND LAYERS WITH YOUR STUDENTS. It may say the high temperature will be 76 degrees but that often isn’t until 3 PM or later so the early morning classes can be quite chilly.
