Boys Baseball Update

The Pontiac Junior High baseball season is underway as the Warriors bring a mix of veterans and young players to the field.

In a 12-3 loss to open the season at Metcalf, Pontiac was led in hitting by Zach Berry who went 2-for-2.  Berry and Brady Harms each had an RBI while Niko Harris and Ty Abraham each stole a base.

In their next game, Ridgeview overwhelmed the Warriors 11-1.  Aiden Melvin led the team with the lone RBI while Ty Abraham and Jase Pshak each had a hit.

On a road trip to Bloomington, the Warriors lost 19-2 to the Knights.  Niko Harris, Brady Harms, Easton Williams, Zach Berry, and Jase Pshak each collected one hit for 2026 PJHS Warriors. Harris and Williams each drove in one run.  Harris added two stolen bases. 

Last night the Warriors notched their first victory with a well-earned 7-4 victory over Fieldcrest.  Easton Williams and Evan Baird each collected two hits for 2026 PJHS Warriors. Niko Harris, Maxx Warwick, and Baird each drove in one run for 2026 PJHS Warriors. Brady Harms led the Warriors with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing six walks for the game. Williams stole two bases. Warwick pitched a solid game putting his team into position to win their first game.
