Our 6th graders participated in a great back-to-school activity for team building in the classroom! Students worked together to save Fred.
Fred, the worm, was riding in his boat when it capsized. He was able to get on top of his boat, but now he's stuck. To make matters worse, he can't swim but has a life preserver.
Students were given paper clips and had to get Fred into his life preserver and boat without harming him or letting him fall in the water.
They had a lot of laughs while working on communication skills, fine motor skills and building camraderie!
