Discus Record Shattered!
Joseph Lucas, an 8th grader on the PJHS track and field team, broke the long-standing throwing record of 158' set by Joel Dodson in 1995. Lucas not only broke the record, he broke his own record as well! His first throw was a distance of 158' 8.3". He then launched a mind-blowing 164' 4.4" on his 3rd throw. We could not be happier for Joseph. He has been working so hard to reach this milestone! Keep up the great work, Joseph!
