Last Saturday, the Pontiac Jr. High Co-Op Wrestling team wrestled in the Rochester Regionals. The team qualified 5 wrestlers for State!!
Advancing are Mackson Talley (St. Paul), Leo Voigts and Marcos Borrego (St. Mary's) and Cam Schneider, and Hunter Tull, both from PJHS.
Good luck to Coaches Rupp and Borrego and to all the wrestlers vying for a all-state medal.
The State Tournament will be this Friday (13th) and Saturday (14th) at the Convocation Center at Northern Illinois University. The cost to enter is $15 and parking is also $15.
Doors open on Friday at 10:00 am and wrestling begins at 11:30 am.
For Saturday, doors open at 8:00 am and wrestling resumes at 9:00 am.
