Last night the 8th grade girls played in the Livingston County Volleyball Tournament. The Warriors played GREAT and brought home second place.
In the Quarterfinals, Pontiac defeated Flanagan by a score of 25-20, 25-23. In the Semifinals, Pontiac defeated St. Mary's 25-22, 25-8.
In the Championship game, the Warriors fell to Cornell 13-25, 9-25.
Scoring for Pontiac across all 3 games were Maya Ray with 25 points, Chloe Dearth with 14, Addie Frazier with 8, Ella Huncovsky 7, Claire Elliott 3, Breelyn Sperka and Sophie Shepherd with 2 points each, and Ava Hammer with 1. Congratulations Coach Miller and all the players! We are proud of you!
Tonight, both the 7th and 8th grade girls teams are back in action at home against St. Mary's starting at 4:30 pm.
7th grade Regionals is this Saturday. Pontiac plays at PBL at 11:30 am against Prairie Central.
