Last night the Pontiac Junior High Volleyball team ran into a solid Chiddix team at both the 7th and 8th grade levels.
The 7th grade team lost to Chiddix 15-25, 5-25. Scoring for Pontiac were Grace Harder with 5 points, Dallas Ahlers with 3, and Hattie Thompson with 2.
The 8th grade team also lost to the Chargers by a score of 15-25, 9-25. Scoring for the Warriors were Ella Huncovsky with 3 points, Chloe Dearth with 2, and Claire Elliott, Maya Ray, and Addie Frazier each with 1 point.
The 7th and 8th grade teams play again tonight against Flanagan, here at 5:30 pm.
Then on Wednesday night, the 8th graders travel to Flanagan to play in the Livingston County Tournament. The 8th graders will play at 5:30 pm and will take on the winner of Flanagan and Saunemin.
The 7th graders will play in Regionals this Saturday at Paxton Buckley Loda Jr. High. They are seeded 6th and will play 3rd seeded Prairie Central at 11:30 am.
The 8th grade Regionals are hosted by Pontiac and will begin on Saturday, March 7th.
