The Jr. High Volleyball team played Prairie Central tonight. The 7th grade lost a very exciting match, 9-25, 31-29, 16-26. Scoring for Pontiac was Harper Davis with 12 points, Jade Baldwin with 6, Cali La Valley 5, Grace Harder and Makenna Pennington with 4 each, and Hattie Thompson added 2 points..
Their record is now 5-11.
In the 8th grade match the Warriors won 25-15, 25-21. Scoring for Pontiac were Sophie Shepherd and Chloe Dearth with 10 points each, Elle Huncovsky and Adi Frazier with 8 each, Maya Ray with 6, and Bree Sperka with 5.
Their record is now 3-9.
The girls play again tonight at home vs. Roanoke-Benson. Game time is 4:00 pm for the 7th grade game and 5:00 pm for the 8th grade game.
Tonight is 8th grade night where we celebrate our 8th grade players. Come out and cheer them on.
