Students are winding down their ancient Egypt unit. We recently discussed the various achievements that came out of Egypt and how they have influenced other civilizations, including ours! We are now immersing ourselves in the art of soap carving. Whether it was to communicate with others or to create useful items, carving has been a part of many ancient civilizations and is still an art today!
