On Tuesday, the 8th grade boys basketball team face the Knights of Fieldcrest. The boys played hard but dropped a 29-18 decision to their opponents. Scoring for the Warriors were Griffin Dodson with 8 points, Karson Pina with 4, and Tyson Rients, Sharvesh Karunakaran, and Braylen Duncan with 2 points each.
Last night against Reed Custer, the boys played great winning by a score of 53-26. Griffin Dodson led the scoring with 15 points, Tyson Rients added 9, Tyler Myers 8, Tyler Myers and Ty Abraham had 7 each, Dawson Shepherd had 3, and Kye Metz and Fredric ONeal each had 2 points.
Their record is now 5-12.
Tonight the Warriors take on the Chiddix Chargers in Normal with tip off around 5:30 pm.
