Catching up with our 7th grade boys basketball season, the Warriors faced Dwight in the semis of the Livingston County Tournament (LCT). Dwight won 55-36. Braylen Duncan and Kye Metz each had 9 points, Brady Harms 6, Ty Abraham and Lucas Hooker 4, and Easton Williams and Jase Pshak with 2.
In the 3rd place game the Warriors beat St. Mary's 38-35. Kye Metz had 17 points, Easton Gonder and Brady Harms each had 6, Easton Williams 4 and Braylen Duncan and Ty Abraham each had 2.
After the LCT the boys hosted Ridgeview and dropped a close game 47-45. Kye Metz and Braylen Duncan each had 15 points, Easton Gonder and Easton Williams had 6 apiece, and Ty Abraham and Brady Harms added in 2 points each.
At Heyworth, the Warriors lost 44-16. Kye Metz, Braylen Duncan, Brady Harms, and Ty Abraham all had 3 points each, while Easton Gonder and Roy Alvey had 2 each.
Next was Olympia who edged Pontiac 23-20. Easton Gonder led the team with 10 points, Kye Metz had 6, and Braylen Duncan and Ty Abraham each added 2.
Finally, last Saturday St. Mary's topped the Warriors 38-28. Brady Harms had 12 points, Easton Gonder had 6, Kye Metz and Ty Abraham had 4 each, and Roy Alvey added 2.
Their record is now 5-6 and their next game is tonight at Corpus Christi at 5:30 pm.
