Catching up with the 6th Grade girls basketball team and their last couple of games.
Last week they played against Ottawa Wallace and won by a score of 24-18. Scoring for PJHS was Leah Crawford with 12, Laykin Newbury with 8, and Madison Keith with 4 points.
On Saturday against St. Mary's the Warriors won 35-4. Scoring for PJHS was Leah Crawford with 11 points, Laykin Newbury & Madison Keith with 7 points each, Eisley Levin with 4 points, and Soumya Mulinti, Serena Stephens & Olivia Jensen with 2 points each.
And last night they ended their season with a win Tuesday night at Fieldcrest 16-15. Scoring for PJHS was Laykin Newbury with 10, Madison Keith with 4 and Leah Crawford with 2 points.
The team ended their season with a record of 10-6.
