Last night the 7th grade boys basketball team defeated Roanoke-Benson 48-35. Braylen Duncan had 16 points, Easton Gonder 9, Kye Metz 8, Ty Abraham 5, Easton Williams 4, and Brady Harms, Lucas Hooker, and Corbin Konetski each added 2 points.
In the 8th grade game, the Warriors held on to win 36-34, holding off a comeback attempt by Roanoke. Tyler Myers had 9 points, Griffin Dodson and Kye Metz each added 7, Tyson Rients 6, Karson Pina 4, and Ty Abraham 3.
The 7th grade boys are now 3-1. The 8th graders are 1-3.
The teams play this weekend in the Livingston County Tournament, opening up in Saunemin.
The 7th graders play Saunemin at 10:00 am on Saturday, and the 8th graders play Saunemin at 11:00 am, immediately after the 7th grade game.
