Last night the 7th grade boys basketball team defeated Parkside 41-35. Down by 15 points early in the game, the Warriors dominated the second half to come back. Kye Metz led the scoring with 16 points, Ty Abraham added 10, Braylen Duncan 6, Easton Gonder 4, Easton Williams 3, and Lucas Hooker 2.
The 7th grade Warriors are now 2-0 and head to Ottawa to play Ottawa Shepherd on November 12th at 4:30 pm.
The 8th grade Warriors also struggled early against Parkside, and despite playing even with them the second half, lost 44-27. Tyler Myers had 11 points, Tyson Rients 6, Griffin Dodson and Dawson Shepherd each had 3, and Karson Pina and Ty Abraham each added 2 points.
The 8th graders are now 0-2 and play against Ottawa Shepherd in Ottawa on November 12th at 5:30 pm.
