Our 8th graders stepped back in time this week to experience what it was like to work on an assembly line during the Industrial Revolution! As part of our unit, students participated in a hands-on simulation where they worked together to produce a Model T based off of Henry Ford's Model T, using assembly line techniques.
Through this activity, students discovered how the assembly line transformed manufacturing by making production faster, cheaper, and more efficient. Great work, students, for bringing history to life in such a fun and engaging way!
