The 6th grade girls basketball team won against Fieldcrest by a score of 19-14. Scoring for the Warriors was Madison Keith with 7 points, Laykin Newbury with 6, Eisley Levin with 4, and Mitva Chaudhari with 2 points.
ODELL HOOPY HALLOWEEN TOURNAMENT
The 6th grade girls basketball team played in the Odell Hoopy Halloween Tournament, bringing home third place! Friday night they won against Tri-Point 38-20, scoring for PJHS was Laykin Newbury with 17, Madison Keith with 13, Olivia Jensen with 4, and Mitva Chaudhari & Leah Crawford with 2 points each.
Saturday they lost against Flanagan 13-10, scoring was Laykin Newbury with 6 and Olivia Jensen with 2 points.
For the third place game they won against Odell 30-14, scoring for PJHS was Leah Crawford with 12, Laykin Newbury with 7, Eisley Levin with 4, Olivia Jensen with 3, and Mitva Chaudhari & Soumya Mulinti with 2 each.
DWIGHT
The 6th grade girls won their game Saturday morning against Dwight 23-11. Scoring for PJHS was Leah Crawford & Madison Keith with 9 points each and Laykin Newbury with 5 points.
Their record is now 7-5 and their next game is Tuesday, Nov. 4th at home at 4:30 PM.
