The Junior High Golf Team set new standards this season.
Twelve student athletes made up the largest golf team in recent history. Nine boys and three girls made up the squad with five of them being eighth graders, four seventh graders, and three sixth graders. The student athletes practiced and competed throughout the season. The entire team was able to challenge themselves in three matches prior to sectionals.
For the first time ever, PJHS sent a full six person squad to the boys sectional! Jonathan Sancken, Jackson Fosdick, Beckett Ahern, Jase Pshak, Aiden Melvin, and Kye Metz all performed the Warrior Way by showing sportsmanship, a positive attitude, and respect for the game. Several of them shot below their season average! PJHS also sent two girls to the sectional tournament. Malary Torrez and Ava Hammer both went out and did their absolute best making themselves, families, coaches, and school proud to call them our own student athletes!
