On Tuesday the 18th, the Pontiac Jr. High baseball team dropped a 13-1 decision against the Metcalf Wildcats in the A game. Blaize Tovrea had a hit and an RBI, while Ty Abraham added a hit.
In the B game against Metcalf, the Wildcats won 7-3. Maxx Davis had 2 hits, while Avery Baird and Aiden Melvin each had a hit and an RBI. Jaden Vanhouten added a hit.
On Saturday, the Warriors beat Ridgeview 10-1. Blaize Tovrea, Kohen Cleary, Jase Pshak, and Kyler Herring all had a hit. Ty Abraham pitched 4.2 innings giving up a run and striking out 8. Avery Baird pitched without giving up a hit, and Blaize Tovrea pitched an inning with giving up a hit and striking out 3.
The Warriors record is now 2-4 and play again tonight at Bloomington Jr. High at 4:15 pm.
