The 5th and 6th Grade Volleyball teams opened up last night at Ottawa vs. Ottawa Central.
The 5th Graders lost in 3 sets, 23-25, 25-20, 11-25. Scoring for the Warriors were Leah Crawford and Emmerson Fenton with 5 points each, Nora Huncovsky and Olivia Jensen with 4 points each, Evangeline Cunningham and Leah Mackinson with 3 points each, Emma Lewis and Kataya Ramey with 2 points each, and Hadley Henderson, Madison Keith, and Kylie Newbury with 1 point each.
The 5th Graders are now 0-1.
The 6th Graders lost in 2 sets, 24-26, 22-25. Mckenna Pennington had 7 points, Grace Harder 6, Hattie Thompson and Lilah Vanover 5, Dallas Ahlers, Cali LaValley, Harper Davis and Lily Melvin each had 4, Cristal Romero, Jade Baldwin, and Ryder Lee each had 2, and Chelsea Owens 1.
The 6th Graders are now 0-1.
Their next game is January 15th at Fieldcrest with the 5th graders starting at 5:30 pm and the 6th graders afterwards.
