Ms. Cowser (Art) and Mrs. Simmons (Social Studies) collaborated to have students work on an Egyptian art project. Ms. Cowser taught students about Egyptian art and the history of Egyptian headdresses, fashion and funeral customs. Students used their own image to design an Egyptian portrait using oil pastels. Students love having the opportunity to be creative and imaginative!
