On Monday, November 27, the Boy's 7th and 8th Grade Basketball Teams played Coal City. The 7th Grade Team had a final score of Pontiac 25 and Coal City 40. Pina scored 3 points, King scored 6 points, Beebe scored 2 points, and Mackinson scored 14 points. The 8th Grade Team went into over time, but couldn't hold onto the lead. The boys never gave up and played hard. The final score was Pontiac 35 and Coal City 40. Williams scored 4 points, Lanning scored 2 points, Christensen scored 4 points, Reed scored 19 points, Shelton scored 4 points, and Green scored 2 points.
On Tuesday, November 28, the Boy's Basketball Teams played Metcalf. The final score for 7th Grade was Pontiac 31 and Metcalf 45. Pina scored 3 points, Kuerth scored 4 points, Dronenberg scored 4 points, King scored 14 points, and Mackinson scored 6 points. Their record is now 5 and 4. The final score for the 8th Grade Team was Pontiac 27 and Metcalf 39. Lanning scored 5 points, Christensen scored 2 points, Reed scored 10 points, Jones scored 6 points, and Shelton scored 4 points. Their record is now 2 and 7.
