Story for the week: I’ll Join You
Reading Vocabulary words per minute Test: Thursday 5/15. Tested words:always, move, school, army, realized, boy, open, boy, toy, decided, shared, toward, buses, mouth, cannot, often, dresses, stars, couch, something
Spelling: Spelling words: Pre Test 5/12& Test 5/16. cannot, outside, grandma, something, popcorn, tiptoe, are, bake, gave, late, make, take
Science: We have started our culminating Science Unit the RAINFOREST!
IMPORTANT Reminders:
May 14 Library books due (no further checkout this year)
May 19-21 DIBELS testing
May 22– Cooperative Play Day– Dress appropriately with tennis shoes!!!!
May 26– No School –Memorial Day
May 29– Awards Assembly
May 30– No school / Teacher Institute
June 2– Pick up report cards 8:00-8:30
Classroom reminders:
May 27th-bring plastic bag to school to clean out desk
We are studying the Rainforest.
If you have any cool things at home that you would like to send in or donate, in order to decorate our classrooms like a rainforest, please send them in. If you want the item back, please be sure to put your name somewhere on the item.
PLEASE do not bring in “beanie babies” without a name on them!!!
Monday, May 19th is the last day to turn in
Books I have Read Lists for a classroom
reward. (no exceptions– to be fair)
