Story for the week: Doggy Art
Reading Vocabulary words per minute Test: Thursday 5/8. Tested words:whispered, things, library, listen, about, shouldn’t, flowers, book, soccer, round, almost, picture, took. Snow glory, stood, knew, thought, closer, eyes, listen
Spelling: Spelling words: Pre Test 5/5& Test 5/9. pretty, happy, little, kitten, puppy, better, cleaned, rain, showing, right, fly, glue
Science: We will be starting our culminating Science Unit the RAINFOREST!
IMPORTANT Reminders:
April 30- progress reports go home
May 1- Kindergarten orientation at Central school
May 5-Trooper Dittmer will talk to students about web safety
May 6-Parent forum regarding withdraw from LCSSU at Central School
May 9– SMILE Dental program / Registration packets due back to school!!!!!!
May 19-21 DIBELS testing
May 22– Cooperative Play Day– Dress appropriately with tennis shoes!!!!
May 26– No School –Memorial Day
May 29– Awards Assembly
May 30– No school / Teacher Institute
June 2– Pick up report cards 8:00-8:30

Flip Flops
Many of our students are enjoying the spring weather by wearing flip flops to school. As a result, we have noticed an increase in recess accidents. Gym shoes are still the best choice for safety
